Every inspection comes back with extensive photography and video — far more of the car than a seller’s handful of listing shots will ever show you.
We record the things that decide whether a car is worth the money: body and interior condition, mechanical components, visible leaks, wear, damage, modifications, rust, and anything else we can see. If you are buying from out of state, this is your eyes on the car.
And what it’s worth, not just what’s wrong.
Condition is only half of it. The other half is what the car is actually worth in today’s market, which is a different question and a harder one.
We put the car in context using current and past sales on comparable vehicles, so you can see where this one sits. The goal is not to tell you what to pay. It is to make sure the number you land on is an informed one.
Local, or wherever the car is.
If the car is near us, we can bring it into the shop and inspect it on a lift, which is always the better look. If it is somewhere else, we coordinate the inspection at the seller’s location or arrange the logistics to get it seen.
A pre-purchase inspection turns up things that photographs, advertisements and a seller’s description never will. Buy the car you want — just know what you’re buying first.
