Everybody has one of these.
You inherited a car from a family member. You found a forgotten jewel sitting in Grandma’s garage. Or there’s the car from high school parked beside the house that you’ve been saying you’re going to get running again one of these days.
We’ll come to you. We assess what’s there and work out whether the goal is simply to get it running, to get it safely onto a truck and into the shop, or to build a plan that puts it back on the road.
Sometimes it’s a battery and a tank flush.
Getting a long-stored car running again is often much simpler than people brace for. A battery. Some attention to the fuel system. Flushing out a tank that’s been holding the same gas since the last administration. Air in the tires.
Other times, years of sitting have done real damage and the job is a bigger one. Either way you find out before you start spending money, not after.
What we do when we come out.
- Battery testing and replacement
- Fuel system inspection and cleaning
- Fuel tank flushing
- Starting and running diagnostics
- Tire inspection, inflation and replacement
- Fluid and condition checks
- Initial brake and safety assessment
- What it needs before the car can be moved safely
- Arranging transport to the shop
- A path to getting it road-ready
That forgotten car might be more than an old car. It might be a piece of your family history.
